As you recall from our class discussion this past weekend, I try to dramatize the connection between seeing life within the framework of globalization as a barren landscape versus one marked by opportunities in terms of the ability to seek out different information. Presumably, and I accept prima fascia the credibility of the argument, the ability to seek out different information is the necessary condition to catalyze a process theorized by McKinsey & Co. in the conception of global leadership. Specifically, they note that global market pioneers "seek out different information, process it in a different way, come to different conclusions, and make different decisions. Where others see threats and complexity, they see opportunity. Where others see a barren landscape, they see a cornucopia of choices." So against that profile, I had asked you to identify information sources that fall off the path of conventional thought processes that we presume play out in the business world. Below are those that I have received. Please feel free to explore it will Alternative information sources suggested by your classmates
