By taking 9 to 12 additional credit hours
over the MBA, UD students can earn a Master of International Business (MIB)
along with their UD MBA! This opportunity is offered in cooperation
with our partner, the Grenoble Graduate School of Business (GGSB), Grenoble,
France. (Grenoble is a
lovely city located at the foot of the French Alps in the valley of the
River Isere.) This means that with one extra semester, students can
graduate with both a UD MBA and a GGSB MIB. All instruction in
the MIB is in English. The GGSB MIB is now ranked fifth in the
world by Financial Times.
Students will normally take their second
year in Grenoble. The period of instruction for the MIB is two
semesters, September through December and January through April.
Students can begin in either semester, choosing to do the program in a
calendar year (with the summer free) rather than the academic year.
The application deadline for fall
semester admission to the MIB is April 1, and for spring semester
admission is October 1 of each year.
Contact
John Kmetz or the MBA
office for details. You can also see the
MIB courses on the GGSB website (the "first" and "second" semester courses are now
offered during both the fall and spring semesters). Follow the link to
the English language programs and then to the graduate degrees.
This program requires advance planning
to be sure that credits taken at GGSB will fit into your program
correctly, so start planning early.
