Argentina, Brazil, and Chile 2010!
This is an exciting program for graduate students, running between June 1 and June 30, 2010. Graduate students in business, economics, political science, and other selected fields will be able to take a one-month program of two courses, with a two-week period of study abroad in these three exciting South American nations. One course will be BUAD 843, Seminar in Global Business: Argentina, Brazil, and Chile. The second will be either BUAD 849, Seminar in Business Administration, or BUAD 866, Special Problem; either of these will be designed for maximum flexibility for students to study topics related to the region visited and relevance to their individual interests.
The detailed syllabus is still in development, but our service provider, the Austral Group, has provided detailed information on the program cost and the program itinerary. Just click on the links to see these. (The Austral Group is a specialist in arranging these study-abroad trips for foreign universities, and has an excellent reputation from UD and many other US universities.) Classes will be held on campus in the first week of June prior to departure. To sign up for the program, contact the program director, Dr. John Kmetz, directly; he can also help if you have any questions. Enrollment has been extended until February 19, 2010, but it is strongly recommended that you contact Prof. Kmetz as early as possible to reserve the plane ticket. We have an excellent price that cannot be held much longer.
The course will not be available for formal enrollment through UDSIS until April 5, but seats will be held for those on the list. Hope you can join us!
