Enabling SPAM Filtering in Microsoft Outlook
The Anti-SPAM filters installed on the Lerner College e-mail server will automatically move suspected junk e-mail to your Junk E-mail folder. Follow the steps below to enable filtering on your mailbox.
It is highly likely that legitimate messages will occasionally be marked as SPAM. It is important to continue to periodically review messages in your Junk E-mail Folder.
The filter can be trained to better distinguish SPAM e-mails. For instructions on training the Bayesian filters, click here.
To enable the filter for your mailbox:
Step 1 Go to http://webmail.lerner.udel.edu , and log in with your Lerner College
username and password.
Step 2 Click on the button labeled “Options” on the bottom left of the page
(fig. 1).
Step 3 Scroll down to "Privacy and Junk E-mail Prevention". Put a check in the box labeled, "Filter Junk E-mail."
Step 4 Click "Save and Close" to save your changes.
