Barry Crozier, CPA

 

Barry Crozier is the Managing Director of Belfint, Lyons & Shuman in Wilmington, Delaware.  Belfint, Lyons & Shuman, P.A. is one of the largest and most established certified public accounting and consulting firms in Delaware. Barry is responsible for the daily operations of the firm and oversees client service efforts.  During his tenure, the firm received several community service awards, most notably the Marvin S. Gilman Superstars in Business Award and the New Journal’s “Best in the Business—Best Place to Work” award.  Barry has held multiple leadership and board positions with area professional organizations and was instrumental in the successful passage of the State’s accounting mobility law. 

Barry’s colleagues have described him as compassionate, dedicated and tireless.  He has volunteered for his church in a number of capacities ranging from president of pastor parish relations to treasurer and chairman.  He has served on committees, as a board member and in officer positions for several nonprofit, community and civic organizations throughout his adult life.  Currently he is treasurer and board member of the Neighborhood House, Inc. and serves on committees with the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware and has volunteered with the Salvation Army and the Emanuel Dining Room. As an active member of the Wilmington Rotary Club for the last 22 years, he has served as a member of the Scholarship and Office Systems committees and is treasurer of the District Conference committee for 2009. 

Recently, Barry celebrated his 30th anniversary with Belfint, Lyons & Shuman and has been nominated by his fellow directors to serve another three-year term as Managing Director of the firm, the leadership position he has held consecutively since 1994.

Barry graduated from the University of Delaware as an accounting major in 1971. He and his wife, Joan,  reside in Wilmington, Delaware

 


 

Matthew Martin

 

Matt Martin is the Senior Vice President, Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and Charlotte Regional Branch Executive. In this role, Matt is responsible for branch leadership and regional outreach in the Carolinas.  The Federal Bank of Richmond is one of 12 District Reserve Banks that together with the Board of Governors in Washington, D.C., make up the Federal Reserve System. 

Matt has been with the Federal Reserve Bank since 2006 and has served as a Regional Economist and as the Interim Manager of Regional Economics.  Upon his appointment this past March as Sr. Vice President, Jeffrey Lacker, Richmond’s Fed President, commented, “His unique leadership and diverse professional experiences prepare him to make contributions to the senior management team and represent the Fifth District voice to our constituents.” 

Matt has also served as the Senior Economist at Moody’s Economy.com in West Chester, as Sr. Economist and Manager at ECONorthwest in Seattle, and as Budget Analyst in the Congressional Budget Office in Washington, D.C.  A graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and subsequently an Army officer, Matt commanded a 16-member unit as part of Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm.

Matt also has applied his enthusiasm for economic education and financial literacy as a board member of the North Carolina Council on Economic Education, Junior Achievement of the Central Carolinas and Community Link, a local housing and home ownership nonprofit organization operating in the greater Charlotte area.

In 1998, Matt earned a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Delaware.  He and his wife, Leslie, live near Charlotte, North Carolina and have two children, Grant and Delaney. 



 


 

Daniel Strickberger

 

Daniel Strickberger is the Co-Managing Partner of DSM Capital Partners in Westchester County, New York.  DSM Capital Partners was founded by Dan and by Stephen Memishian in February 2001.  At the end of July 2008, with fourteen employees, the firm manages over $1.6 Billion.  DSM Capital Partners is an SEC registered investment advisor offering separately managed growth stock accounts.

 

Dan began his career in 1979 as a credit analyst, first at Morgan Guaranty, and later at Bank of Tokyo.  He joined Oppenheimer & Co. in 1982 and later that year, after Oppenheimer was sold, joined Lazard Freres & Co. In 1991, Dan joined W.P. Steward & Co., where he managed a substantial portion of the firm’s assets.  Nine years later, he left to co-found DSM.

 

Dan’s commitment to his community, University service, and education is evident in his volunteerism. Dan serves on the Investment Committee of the University of Delaware Endowment. He also serves on the Advisory Board of Delaware’s Lerner College of Business & Economics. He is involved in the Westchester Youth Soccer League and has served as head coach for the Chappaqua Youth Soccer Club.  Dan and his wife are financial supporters of Open Door Family Medical Center and Heroes and Hope, and the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance, an organization dedicated to finding a cure for tuberous sclerosis complex, while improving the lives of those affected. He also has volunteered as a guest speaker in finance classes at New York University.

 

Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Delaware and a Master of Business Administration in Finance and International Business from New York University.
