About Beldona
Very often, I am reminded of my "unusual" surname that no other family is known to have. The name "Beldona" stems from a village that lies very close to the Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka border in Southern India. Close to the commercial town of Guntakal in Andhra Pradesh, there is a prevailing thought that the village's original name was 'Beldoni", which was then converted to "Beldona" by the British during their rule there.
